So far the winter of 2015/2016 has blessed us with plenty of powder here in Tahoe with at least a storm per week November through January. February presented us with a bit of a dry spell with a strong high pressure ridge lingering over most of the west coast these past weeks. Forecasters are now all saying that this pattern is set to change and that we’re going to see A LOT of snow in March! Check out this article on Snowbrains.com that seems to have many different forecast models predicting a similar storm pattern this month.
We’ll keep you posted, but for now if looks like we’ll have plenty more powder days in Tahoe before the end of this ski season.
